Nequiel “Nikki” Reyes named 2026 Toppel Student of the Year

Nikki Reyes, a CHANGE T32 trainee and fourth‑year doctoral candidate in the Division of Prevention Science and Community Health, has earned one of the university’s highest student distinctions.

Dr. Mariano Kanamori, Co-Director of the EIS Core, received the 2025 Provost Award for Mentorship, and Raymond Balise, Ph.D., Co-Director of the Methods Core, was nominated for the Provost Award for Teaching Innovation.
