EIS Core Boutique Mentoring Program

The CHARM EIS Core houses an Implementation Science-specific "Boutique Mentoring Program."

While the 2025 application cycle is closed, please see information about the program below:

The program aims to help the mentees conceptualize, prepare, and submit a K or R-level grant application or CHARM pilot application in E. Implementation Science (EIS) that will lead to a K or R-level grant application. Over the course of the year, selected mentees meet with their “EIS mentoring pods,” inclusive of other mentees and EIS expert mentors. Mentees will work in their mentoring pods toward obtaining K or R-level funding in EIS, prepare for scientific publications with an EIS focus, and build an independent research program in EIS.

Eligible applicants are:

  • Early-Stage Investigators
  • Doing Research on HIV and Mental Health
  • Are part of the University of Miami or CHARM affiliated institutions (FIU, FSU, UCF)
