What is a CHARM Community Partner? A CHARM Community Partner is a community organization involved with services and activities related to: HIV and mental health, sexual health, advocacy, and/or community support services. The goal of these partnerships is to connect researchers and the community to work together towards ending the HIV epidemic in South Florida and beyond.
CHARM highly values MEANINGFUL COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. This means actively working with community partners to support what the community cares about, like coming up with research ideas and projects that are responsive to community needs.

How to become a CHARM Community Partner – To be an official CHARM Community Partner, you must complete the “Community Agency Survey.” This is a short survey that asks about what your organization does, what needs your organization has, and what activities you may be interested in getting involved with. This short survey must be completed every year to renew your Community Partner status.
