On October 18, 2024, CHARM hosted the first annual CHARM Giving Back Day!

Inspired by our Community Advisory Board (CAB), this event is a day of service dedicated to our local Miami community which provided:
- Resources and education on Mental Health and HIV
- Food distribution by TLC Recovery House
- Food Truck catering by Soulful Catering
- Prevention services such as testing, housing support, substance misuse education
- Space for meaningful connections to build trust between researchers and our community
- Testimonials from our CAB members
- Face painting and a bounce house for the kids!
The event welcomed over 500 guests from the community, and featured several of our CHARM community partners, including:
